Franco’s Ristorante is a step off the pavement at the head of the town centre square of Carlisle. You are welcomed into our uniquely located medieval building with original features: The Guildhall which was built in 1407 and is one of Carlisle's oldest and historic buildings. The Restaurant is awash in breath taking Venetian paintings on the walls hand painted by local artist Terry Moore.

We offer creative traditional authentic Italian cuisine using the finest ingredients sourced both locally and imported from Italy.

We have taken measures to maintain safety for all our customers and staff such as offering hand sanitiser and spreading the tables out more to give more space.

Our friendly, cosy, hospitable atmosphere makes us the perfect location for couples and families and also offering available space for parties, work functions and small weddings with a range of menus available.

At Franco's we offer something for everyone, ranging from traditional pizza and pasta dishes to chicken, steak and fresh fish and seafood dishes. We also offer vegetarian, gluten free, other dietary requirement options and a children’s menu as well as our Piattini menu which offers lighter Italian tapas dishes. Our bar features a range of speciality Cocktails.
